This must be done at any Ford or Lincoln dealership. Price varies from dealership to dealership for this service. We charge .00 here at Fairway Ford for this enabling service.
To verify if your F-150 came equipped with the required hood switch, open your hood and look half way down the driver's side inner fender. You will be looking for a "plunger" style switch that is encased in a black rubber boot that would make contact with your hood when closed.
