Sherratt & Simpson Bichon Frise Sitting SS 89094 3¾" tall 4" long figurine of a Bichon FriseSherratt & Simpson a Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England company, that sold its first figures in 1985' crafted the original design and moulds from which this sculpture is made. From that time until they ceased operations in August 2001 they produced a large line of highly detailed high quality hand painted cold cast resin figurines of cats, dogs, mice and other wildlife. In October 2001 Country Artists, located in the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, England, acquired all of the Sherratt & Simpson moulds and set about to re-introduce the product line to the collecting public. The product will continue to carry the Sherratt & Simpson name. Previous owners Mick Simpson (sculptor) and Geoff Sherratt (marketer) said that they look forward to working with Country Artists. Now (2003) some of the Sherratt & Simpson line is "Distributed by Willitts Designs". This change in distribution caused a re-numbering of the product line. Willitts Designs, Petaluma, Ca .
